Frequently asked questions

If you would like to book an appointment, please use our internal booking system or Doctolib via the “Book an appointment” button at the top right. Alternatively, you can send us an email to kontakt@heal-praxis.de. We're here to help!

All treatment costs are to be paid by yourself. Most public health insurance companies contribute to the costs of osteopathy, usually for three to four sessions with a subsidy of 30 to 60 euros per treatment. Private health insurance companies usually cover the costs in full.

It depends on your health insurance company. Many health insurance companies require a private prescription for osteopathy, which can be issued by any doctor. This should have been issued before treatment. You then submit the bill and prescription to the health insurance company. However, you can come to us at any time without a prescription and pay for the treatment privately.

Any doctor or dentist can issue medical certificates for osteopathic treatment informally. For most health insurance companies, it is important that it was issued before the start of treatment and that this is also printed on the certificate.

The prescription should include your name, date of birth, and health insurance number. It must also be clearly stated that the treatment recommendation applies to osteopathy.

You can pay us in cash, with a debit/credit card or by bank transfer. If immediate payment is not possible, we will be happy to issue you an invoice.

At the first appointment, please bring existing findings, such as laboratory reports or doctor's letters. These help us to optimally tailor the treatment to you.

You can cancel appointments free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time. In the event of a later cancellation, we reserve the right to charge for the appointment.
